Orchid Orthopedics – Establishing
a brand.
A worldwide leader in contract design and manufacturing of
implants and instruments for the orthopedic, dental and cardiovascular
markets, Orchid is made up of ten contract manufacturing divisions
that, in combination, have been serving the orthopedic community
for more than 75 years. In need of an image update, we set our goals high.
here's what we did:
• created a unique brand with a strong visual identity
emphasizing the company's five areas of capability
• established a market positioning statement
• rewrote and redesigned their website, integrating their new
brand look into a robust corporate site
that also incorporated the ten division sites
• extended the brand to:
- trade show graphics

a corporate video
- an 8-page corporate
brochure
- a pocket-sized division brochure
• concepted, wrote and designed a MAD-magazine-inspired
"foldable" ad campaign that drew attention
to the company's unique capability in lean manufacturing
• issued an in-depth identity manual for the new brand standard
results:
The company's growth has accelerated well into the double-digits,
based in part on their unified image and heightened profile. |
